Rapid H. Pylori Test

Helicobacter pylori (HP) is a bacterial agent associated with peptic ulcer disease and cancers of the human gastrointestinal tract. HP infections are highly prevalent throughout the world. The infection is treatable with antibiotics; however untreated HP infections can lead to stomach cancer thus enhancing the need for, and the benefit of, testing for HP infection. Current diagnostic methods require sophisticated laboratory equipment and take several days to complete.

Pylori Anitbody Tests detect HP antibodies in serum, plasma or whole blood produced in response to HP infection.
